What is it?
This is a non-profit organization, which is formed in
the city of Lowell by the founder to providing service in general educational
counseling to children, parents, adults, and other guardians where children live
with. This organization also develops texts in Southeast Asian languages in any
academic areas including, but not limits to, poems, novels, fiction & nonfiction
stories, biographies, etc.
Why ASALEC is
formed?
Very simple. There are
several organizations, agencies existing in the city and throughout the state,
but do not have the services, or products the communities need. For example,
texts in Cambodian, Laotian, or Vietnamese.
What is ASALEC’s
mission?
The mission is to provide
the services or products available to the public, such as academic counseling,
learning texts in many languages, homework assistance, interpretation &
translation, and referrals.
What do we do?
We do develop books from
research sources and from real life stories (will interview the communities and
make into books). We also offer services in many academic counseling need to
children, parents, adults, or other guardians where children live with.

Why we do it?
Like we have mentioned that
there are several areas not available to those people.
Who will benefits
from it?
Children will be able to
have an access to many available services we offer like gym, recreation
activities, homework assistance, meet new friends, and will be better with their
education skills. Parents, businesspeople, communities, educators, etc will
have extra help to implementing their current activities.
What is the cost
of the service?
There is no cost involved
in this. The service will be available to the public at no cost.
What are the costs
of books?
Very small [you pay for
shipping and handling cost only]. All proceeds will go to ASALEC fund account
for its use.

The hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM –
Monday to Friday, except weekends and holidays.
