ASALEC's staff works hard to collect true life stories. Life experiences
should be treated as important facts, which can help our young children
understand what had happened to their ancestral times. Parts of them are
considered to be very useful tools for disciplining the youngsters to gain
respect, adaptation of living and education environment, schools, community, and
the society itself.
Of course, you can share your stories with us as well. Please remember that
each and everyone has had different stories to share. We respect your privacy
and confidence while sending us your stories to be published and let the world
see them as good experiences. However, we will conduct a random interview in
the community to collect real life experiences of their past 20 or so years
before they made their entries into the United States.
Our research is our priority goal to include at all time favorite stories,
poems, novels, songs, fictions and non-fictions, drama, history, social studies,
and many others. Today's educational materials will be created from various
sources, such as from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Other sources like from
Britain, France, Australia, Japan, Canada, and so on. Research will be done via
internet, pencil-paper questionnaires, faxes, web site generating sources.
Clearinghouse, ERIC, Department of Education, temples, churches, and other
private schools are, for instance, targeted for our recovery of lost
materials.
We would appreciate if any materials can be accessible for us to get, please
contact us at your discretion. We need to work together to make the world the
better place for education and become good educators themselves.
